YEAH baby! Liberation!~
Hm. Where shall I start? Went RJC for RMUN 2nd briefing yesterday. Epic fail I was, cos when I reached the presentation room, I just realised I forgot to bring up my thumbdrive! So in the end the RJ ppl called another delegate while I ran down to get my thumbdrive. Met Nick (chuan), who was my head fac at SLC at HRC. Small world isn't it eh? I decided to join his bloc.
Then we had another day of boring lessons and return of results, which was absolutely crap. My results were disappointing. Just hope that my languages and SCS could pull me up. And not forgetting Bio! Don't fail me this time!
But language arts lessons on Friday was pretty cool. We went through a short story, titled "Love is a Fallacy". It's about this so-called super smart guy trying to hook up with a friend of his classmate. Since he felt that she was not as smart as him, he decided to teach her logic, as well as some fallacies committed while thinking. The story has an epic funny ending I guess, cos the poor guy got owned by the girl in an totally epic fashion.
We then filled in a worksheet on explaining the various logical fallacies discussed, as well as making some examples for each of them. Well, I was trying to come up with an example for Dicto Simpliciter, when I suddenly thought of Annoying Orange. So yea, I made an example in the Annoying Orange's context, sort of like what he would say that was a Dicto Simpliciter. This orange would say, "Apples are red. Therefore all red fruits are apples." I passed it to Si Wei to read and he laughed his face off.

Was out at Sim Lim Square with Yong Jie today after flag day. He had wanted to get his CID materials (electronic parts) while I wanted to get my 50mm f/1.8 prime lens. After searching though the entire Sim Lim Square looking for dynamos and LED lights, we had decided to go to Sim Lim tower to try our luck. We hadn't put our hopes too high but well, as luck would have it, we found all the electrical parts stores all spammed there. So went around the shops comparing prices and got all the parts needed.
Went home later to try out my new prime lens, the EF 50mm f/1.8. It's super cool. The bokeh created in the background is super nice and soft, and it takes tact sharp pictures. Gosh, I feel like running outside right now to spam pictures! But no, SCS beckons.
Tomorrow perhaps.

Council camp ended today. It was unlike any other camp before, with the water games and such. The camp was fantabulous! Woots~
But camp also made me feel. When we were like singing the songs during the 1st night, I felt overwhelmed, I don't know why, but 3 years of my life in council just returned to me in a flashback, and I had the feeling of deja vu. I felt the exact same feeling 2 years ago, when the council structure was changed and I had the feeling that I was going to lose the disCo comm that I had just found my love for.
I was confused, cos then came 30th council which had almost caused me to lose my interest in council. I had wanted to quit, but the Y2 juniors reporting for gate duty every morning just kept me going.
31st had been the most satisfying term for me, and I was dreaming of the possibilities we could have as welfare department when a new wave of change came along, that left me at a loss of what to do.
Now the same feeling came back to me, I was wondering, what is council going to be like?
After the camp, I hope I've found the answer. Seeing that everyone, even those who were not the "council-type", start to feel for the council makes me feel that this new council will be a strong and united one.

Yesterday's trip to Mr Gan's house to 拜年 was super fun:) Played tennis and boxing on Wii with Zi Siang and Chi Kan. Playing boxing on Wii was super hilarious! It's like it just won't obey the controller no matter now many times you punch in the air.
Got thrashed by Zi Siang in the end:P
Then Yi Thong was like saying: "他们玩到沒力，我笑到沒力。"
Then played blackjack with Zi Siang, Geraldine, Siwei, Chikan and Mr Gan. Won some $ for dinner in the end:D
Went for dinner at Carl's Jr. The Big Carl that they have is super 爽 to eat, and the fries with salsa and onions are to die for.

How many times must I disappoint my parents with my maths result.

It hurts when you failed your maths and not only did they not scold you but ask you study harder. I’ve studied hard, but when your hands are trembling as you struggle to write the answer out during the test and your mind was a total blank, how am I gonna do well? When will I be able to overcome all these that’s in my mind? How?

Chemistry tomorrow. I mustn't disappoint.

Had a awesome start to the 1st day of lessons today, as some of us in 4D got owned by Mdm Zhang for not doing the holiday homework for Chinese. I was one of those who got owned. lol

Maths lessons was quite okay, as matrices were easy to learn.

I’m feeling shagged after the Tone Poem/Anniversary rehearsal today.

Anniversary rehearsal today was utter bull. Was given conflicting instructions and ended up moving up and down the stage a few times. Another time we were at the right side of the hall getting ready when we were suddenly told to move to the left side of the hall. Like ?!

Of course, tempers started to flare, and were were like cursing and swearing. Ms Chan was shouting at us throughout.

Some other CCA was being capricious, and changed their anniversary item without informing the other teachers/instructors. This partly explains the general mood of the rehearsal today.

Hope that the next rehearsal would be better. If not, I don’t think we would be able to pull off a good performance for school anniversary.

Have to report at 6.50am for Y1 registration. Shucks, there goes my sleep..

Went back to school to learn the mass dance today. It was quite fun. Revised the “Sun Dance”, and I was quite okay with it, until Shao Tan split us into 2 groups to dance without them leading in front. I got owned immediately as I couldn’t remember the actions thoroughly.

And I was surprised to see the Year Ones shouting “Bang” to Zi Siang, with Alan joining them. Total madness:D

Learnt the new mass dance, “Accidentally In Love”. I feel that Benson and Jieying really make a sweet couple, especially so when they danced with each other during demonstration of the dance.

The new dance is confusing, I must say. Was learning the girls’ part and was partnered with Justin. Super sian, since we kept forgetting our movements.

After the mass dance training, some of us from SC and PSB were asked to help the school attendants in moving the tables down to the ground floor. It was hard work, and Yiming had created a super easy way to carry the tables down: walk down the stairs while sliding the table down the staircase railings. But the dusty tables soon dirtied the railings, so we had to revert to the conventional method again, haha.

Helped Alan and Mr Yeo move the biscuits into the GO while Mr Yeo made a few rounds to transport the biscuits back to school. Went for lunch at JP after that with Alan, Chi Kan, Pei En and Qinye.

Here’s a last ditch attempt to revive my blog.

Had band practice today. Woke up late at 8am, and chionged to school on 174, reaching at 9.05am. Ms Chan was on the same bus as me, and I was like thinking, “GG man, I’m going to be skinned alive once I get off the bus with her.”

Ms Chan was in a good mood today, apparently. She did not start questioning me even as I said “Hi” to her. Band prac was quite slack today, with only Tone Poem and sectionals. Got released at 12pm and had lunch at KFC with Jia Wei and Yue Chen.

Later went to the JRL with Jia Wei and spent the afternoon reading and cracking jokes. We had found one book titled: “The Big Book Of Bass”, and started laughing when we realised that this book is about fishing for Basses(a freshwater fish). We went hysterical when we saw one caption: “Playing the smallmouth bass”.

Managed to borrow “Men In White:The Untold Story Of Singapore’s Ruling Political Party”. Gosh, I’ve been searching for it for quite sometime.

Ms Ek’s farewell ceremony was a simple one I must say. But the video was totally screwed up, as the dedications totally destroyed the intended purpose of the video. Sigh.

Got my size M shirt of the Year 4 uniform. Was trying on it just now. I think I look super out of place.

Had dinner with disCo sharks on Monday. Walked around the Esplanade, and wrote wishes on a wishing ball(to be released in the Singapore River). Chang Lok lost his suanning capabilities, apparently. Weilin and Lok Hang was like suanning Chang Lok at any possible moment.

Went to buy uniform today. I look wierd in my year 4 uniform.

A treble clef that I took that is formed with Pika-Pika, a form of photography whereby pictures were drawn (with flashlights and glo-sticks) as the camera shutter opens to a indefinite amount of time. Cool isn’t it?

What a busy week! Was going back to school almost everyday for the past week. Now finally getting some moment of rest.

Packed the SC room today and discovered (to our horror) that Carom boards in the SC room were infested with termites. Zi Siang had the honour(?) of taking the can of insecticide to spray on the swarms of termites that was on the Carom boards. He finished the can of insecticide before all the termites on the boards could be exterminated. lol.

Thanks to the termites, we had to unpack all the blazers and shake them before packing them back into black thrash bags to be sent for dry cleaning. We also had to move the boxes of items from the SC room to the hall, where the floorball team was having their training. While repacking the blazers, we were hit by floor balls flying towards us. One of the balls hit me right smack in the face. The pain left me stunned for quite awhile:(

Went for the 3D BBQ at Hilda’s house and had fun telling each other ghost stories. Thanks to Wei Jian’s dad, I managed to not break the curfew. haha. Thanks Wei Jian and his dad!

My 1st HDR imaging work. Comments anyone? :)

After getting a DSLR a few days ago, I must admit that I’m in love with photography. Took tons of images of the Malan Road campus and also PUB sales.

Ken also introduced me to HDR(High Dynamic Range) photography. It’s basically taking the same scene in different exposures using Auto Exposure Bracketing, then combining the images together to form 1 image. After some tone-mapping, the picture would looke very CGI-ish. Cool eh? :D

Okay, have to go sleep already. A long day tomorrow.

Saturday

Some friend of mine from Hwa Chong got a Nikon D90, some mid-range DSLR which was epic cool. Was playing with it while we were walking around the neighbourhood on Saturday night.

We then walked past Bukit Batok CC and saw that there was a Karaoke competition. Thus, we took the D90, went to the front, and acted as though we were the official photographers. As soon as we did that, we then saw the REAL photographer coming towards us with a imba Nikon D3x. Epic owned the D90. XD

We had wanted to gatecrash some guy’s wedding by acting as the official photographer, but we decided not to, as well, 1) the restaurant was full of guests and 2) we decided that we couldn’t control our laughter, which could ruin the act.

Ps. How’s that for a camera with good pixelation, Geri? ;)

Sunday

Went to KX’s house to bake cookies for Mrs Ong for her op. The experience with baking was well, EPIC. We had wanted to form the letters R, A, C, H, E and L；and also make Mickey Mouse-shaped ones but well, they came out like epic 水肿. And the Mickey Mouse looks as though it had been force-fed with cookies.

But the cookies came out rather tasty, and I was kind of addicted to the cookies. Should bake some for myself someday:) We then played “STRESS” using the “Upwords” game set and I ended up really pekcek as I kept losing and having to take the tiles. –_-

Is a dream a lie if it don't come true, or is it something worse?

After getting back 7/8 subjects for EoYs, I’ve concluded that that dream of mine that did not come true is something worse than I could imagine. None of my subjects had improved in results, and I had lost my A1s for Lang Arts and Biology, 2 subjects which I was confident in.

My only hope now would lie in moderation (Which wouldn’t help much) and my grades for the previous terms. I had not understood why I had failed miserably; I had did my revision faithfully, even going back to school to get help from teachers. What went wrong?

If in barbed wire flowers can bloom, why couldn't I? I will not die, I will not die…

Maths paper 1 was disappointing, and I’m feeling as pessimistic about paper 2 as well:( Got back SCS, and did quite okay, which is good. Bio section A was expectedly screwed. Will collect Chemistry paper tml. Hope that I will be able to do well this time..

Cos of Yi Li’s imba handwriting, Mrs Ong read her name to be Yi Ci. Super cool name can? All of us started calling her Priest Yi Ci (since papers with her handwriting on it could be used as a talisman) Bought a book abaout folding paper aeroplanes and started wreaking havoc during lessons.Woohoo! :DD

Post EOYs is also a good time to crap. Was trying to come up with jargons for council. In the end, we used Tanker, Super-Tanker and Oil Tanker to classify councillors. Tankers are those who can Tank, but have a limit to what they could handle. Super-Tankers are those who Tank everything and anything (incl. Saikang) and seems to have no limit in the amount of tasks they can Tank. Oil tankers are ones who only do the most important projects(Oil is ex and impt). Lmao.

Welfare’s gonna 忙到爆 during the period now up to 2010. Brace yourselves! :D

CID exam was over and done with, and so was EOYs! The only thing left to do now is to wait for the dreaded results…

Went Club CSC@ Bukit Batok with Zi Siang today. We had wanted to drag Siwei along, but Siwei apparently loves his cave and cavewoman… We had planned to play pool, but in the end the pool lounge is closed and thus we went to bowl. Had bowled until our fingers were sore. But bowling was fun, when you strike the pins.

Ate a massive Botak Jones burger for lunch and it was really filling… too filling I have to say. haha. Then played bowling some more. Great day, I must say.

Then went to meet Ken and 鸟 him about his EOYs while he tries to 鸟 me with his iPhone 3GS. Lmao. But helped him with maths. It was like the blind leading the blind. Lmao.

Go play making history alr. Got raped by japan and UK in the last game. Crap.

There are some movies that I want to watch after exams. The Surrogates is out in Singapore, but there are 2 movies that are not released in Singapore yet. I hope it’ll be released soon…

“The Invention Of Lying” is a movie that I heard about while listening to the BBC. It’s about this not very successful guy that lives in a world that do not lie, not even the white lies that make everyday life more bearable for us. One day, he discovered that he has the ability to lie, and it changes his life. It was released in the UK on 2Oct. Why isn’t it in Singapore yet?!

建國大業(The Founding Of a Republic) is a movie about the founding of the PRC and also the fall of the ROC. This movie was made in occasion for the 60th anniversary of the founding of PRC. Though it may not be historically accurate(it’s from the perspective of the communists), but I’m sure it’ll help me gain valuable insights about the Chinese Civil War. And what’s more, it features cameos from Jet Li, Andy Lau and Jackie Chan. One unique point about this film is that some Chinese actors offered to act in the film without payment, as they feel that’s its a honour to be able to act in this film. so this film Sadly, it’s currently only released in China, and it seems that it’ll be released in the ROC(Taiwan) in 2010. So I doubt that it’ll ever get screened in Singapore. Sigh.

This is gonna be a short, short post. Tomorrow is Maths paper 2! Which is the last paper except for CID:) I’m going to start on the 1st item on my to do list after EOYs: visit grandma:D Long time since I visited her alr. Heh.

EOYs was epic I guess. Bio was amazingly a killer, and physics is an awesome trap that made me waste tons of marks. My GPA… T.T

Well, maths pros are playing today alr. Siwei’s gonna play soldierfront, and Zhijie’s gonna play maple. Me? I guess I have no choice but to play with maths. So TTFN:)

Went back to school as a last-ditch attempt to try to get some subjects “mugged” for EOY revision. Was much more productive than I thought. Managed to finish all the science subjects(without complete memorisation, of course). And I did some maths questions from TYS.

It was even more fun talking to Jun Ming(JJ’s senior) about “Making History” and “Hearts of Iron II”. Man, once EOYs is over I’m so gonna continue on “Hearts of Iron II” and try out “Making History”. Nationalist China FTW! I’m so going to make history and drive the Japanese forces out of Shanghai! Muahahah. (Though its hard to play with it’s crap military forces and it’s perpetually being attacked, not just by Japan but also communist guerrillas as well. But wars could not only be fought with military forces, but also by political manipulation.)

Meanwhile, I’m gonna have to try make history by getting a A for maths for EOYs:)

Decided to blog while waiting for the bio powerpoint slides to be printed (hell lot of slides, paper and ink!)

Wasn’t really productive during the past few days. Just scanned through chem, much of the time was spent catching up on sleep. I can wake up at 11.30am every morning even though I slept at 11 last night. Which was like, wow. Am I really that sleep deprived??

“…Because our cause is just.” Was watching the trailer of "The Pacific”, a HBO miniseries that is produced by the producers of “Band of Brothers”. I can’t wait for it to be released! It’ll be available in March 2010. Seems like eternity though.. Here’s the really cool trailer. The theme song(from 0:54 onwards) is nice:D

Had the mid autumn festival celebration today. Well, it could be better guess, but I enjoyed myself quite a bit at the very least. The mooncake was, ?! You know… Played with lanterns, and I realised that I had not carried a lantern in years. Somehow, it didn’t felt as exciting as before. I used to look forward to carrying lanterns during mid autumn.

Our lantern won the 2nd prize! Many thanks to Yong Chang! Epic solo-ing and skill on your part:)

Took 963 home with Siwei, where we reminisced about our post-PSLE, epic slack days. Gone were those days:( I miss playing UNO, haha.

It’s study break, and after the bad experience from the mid year study break, I must really put it to full use! After flunking both the tests that I had gotten back, I now felt how shaky could my grades be.

Long weekend finally! Could finally settle down on revision for EOYs. How happy. I’m happy to mug, do you believe it?

Anyways, had a final biology test today and it was easy I guess, but I have a feeling that it will screw as it’s the 1st ever bio test that I’m not feeling prepared for.

Siwei’s got a 死穴. There are 2 words that he’s extra sensitive to. One is “COOL~” and the other is the name of his special someone, which I, for my own safety, shan’t reveal. Me and Alvis was like keeping using these 2 words to disturb him during lessons. During chem lesson, when we were learning about saturated solutions, me and Alvis linked it to Siwei: “Hey, Siwei normally produces a strong reaction to these 2 words. We know that it’s saturated when he’s not reacting to the words.” The next thing I know, Siwei’s elbow came flying straight to my side. Ouch.

Had band instrument stocktaking, which was long and tedious. Went home with Siwei and Bryan on a 963 that was caught in a massive traffic jam. The jam was due to a car accident near clementi. Saw many petrol cars and policemen. On the road, I saw blood and some pinkish stuff under the white sheets, which I would not want to know what it is.

Had much thoughts while I came across this picture just now. I’ve only one step before I reach the destination--EOYs. But, there are some choices that I have to make. Whatever I choose is gonna decide what my destination will be. I’ve got less than 2 weeks left. I must make the right choice. I must.

I’m responsible for my own learning.

Was able to stay awake during lessons today. Stayed back after school for the 1st focus group discussion session and was pleasantly surprised, as the session was a very effective one and the tutors really enjoyed teaching their juniors.

Recess and lunchtime was enjoyable as I managed to skip the long queues for both breaks. Haven’t experienced that in a long time.

Was trying to get 3D people to tutor year 2s for the focus group discussions. It was a daunting task alright, but we managed to get a couple of classmates who may be interested to teach. Nurture. Be a teacher. Heh:D

Was told by my father that my new phone was not to be unless I got a 3.0 for GPA for EOYs, overall to top it off. For my phone, I shall chiong! I need a more reliable phone.

I was dreaming of the phone I wanna get. Maybe an E63? Or maybe a HTC hero? Or maybe just a good ol’ phone that does its job and could withstand abuse.

A friend of mine bought a iPod nano 5th generation yesterday. It comes with a camera. What’s more, it’s $228 at suntec, cheaper than the iPod nano 4th generation which still costs $248. Uber cool can. But I guess I shall stick to my trusty sony walkman for now.

1st day of term 4 was eventful. I experienced a emotional roller coaster when receiving Chemistry results. Was 1 mark to A1 for theory, but I barely passed for SPA skill 3. Got pulled down again-_-

Could not sleep last night despite sleeping at 12.30 am. To top it off, I still felt energetic in school today. Ginseng coffee was overkill. *Thumbs up*

Had lang arts speech today. It was screwed, and it wasn't what I expected. The moment I read the wrong sentence, I lost it. Why? No use crying spilt milk I guess, I'll have to try do my best for EOY lang arts. Must maintain my lang arts grade at all cost.

But SCS period was fun. Was discussing about the barriers to development, then Yili was randomly asking me to draw a "Q" on my forehead so as to find out which brain is the more dominant one. Cleaned 10 tubas during CCA today. It may seem easy to clean a tuba but I've realised that it's harder than you think. You have to fight stubborn slides and valves, as well as every living organism that happens to appear when you try to clean the slides. Each tuba took an estimated half an hour to clean and oil. Got algae in my eyes when I tried scrubbing off the thick layer of algae on Yuechen's slide. Epic painful. So rushed to the toilet and washed my eyes with water and I've realised that RV taps sucks when you try to duck under it to wash your eyes. Hope that the taps will be higher in the new campus?
Spammed my tuba with Twinkle and I managed to restore my tuba to pristine condition. Thanks Chee for lending me his polishing cloth. And also Yuechen for helping me with washing the Tubas.
Henry did not come today, staying at home to play maple instead. Yuechen, Jiawei and I had a strong urge to flood his tuba with pee. Seriously. Tons of holiday homework undone. That's all for now. I'm gonna try chiong the homework. Ginseng coffee FTW!

It had been an hectic week lately, as I've been going back to school every single day. Today is not an exception. Had 4 hours of physics lessons. Truly a test of concentration. Spammed Ikea hotdogs for lunch and bought bitter chocolates for my sis.

Helped to clear the SC room on Tuesday and Wednesday. Unfortunately, I had come too late on Wednesday, so I missed the epic battle at the SC room against the cockroaches. But I did manage to see the remnants of the battle.(i.e cockroaches, all dead, some decapitated. And I did catch Sebastian trying to score a floorball goal with a broom and a surviving cockroach. So how's the SC room now? "COOL~" I'd say. Kudos to SRS for their job well done!

I felt rather restless recently, after having a bout of gastroenteritis(gastric flu). It makes you feel dehydrated, and it causes you to lose hours of sleep just to visit the toilet. And not forgetting the fever and headaches. Was thankful to my sister for helping me to pour water in a cup throughout these few days. It was a RARE act of kindness on your part. Okay, maybe I shouldn't be so mean. Thanks mei:)
Still, even though I was feeling epic horrible on sunday, I was still praying that I'll feel better enough for me to visit my primary school. I had missed visiting my teachers last year, and I wasn't about to miss it again. Thankfully, I didn't, and managed to go to school on monday. I managed to catch up with al my friends before my headache acted up and I had to visit the doctor in the evening. The doctor gave me some rather peculiar pill called "Ultracarbon". It is meant to treat diarrhea, and guess what, it's basically charcoal powder mashed into pills. Still, it helped in stopping my diarrhea. Cool.
Went to Tse kiu's house to do CID model just now. I think our model looks like anything else except for a man. It looks too much like a truck. A garbage truck. Huiyu was saying "Other people's model looks like a castle, while ours look like a garbage truck."
I have to say this. Although I may look "dao"(according to some ppl), but I don't like getting "dao-ed" and I won't "dao" people if I can hear or see them. So yea, for those who've told me that I've "dao-ed" them lately, I'm really sorry:( I'll try to clean my ears more often I guess?
31st council was still new to me so far. I thought I was up to it. But apparently, I still have much more to learn. I need to be more reliable! It felt rather different having to face with certain problems yourself and you have to make your own decisions, and those little decisions could affect not just you, but the whole dept as well. Scary I must add.
I must admit that I wasn't given much chance yet to be responsible for the running of the dept. I feel rather uneasy; I was eager to take on something more, but yet, there was nothing much for me to take on. Yet.

Fried my own rice for breakfast today. I decided that I was in the mood to cook, and besides, I need to sharpen my culinary skills, which I've neglected for months. The rice came out to be edible.
I then went to reflash my phone's firmware. My phone have been cocking up recently(dc-ing my SIM card), so I decided to try reflashing my firmware. Spent 2 hours on my sis' comp reflashing the firmware, much of the time is spent waiting for the comp to stop lagging.
I then did some homework. Hopefully I'll be able to finish by tml morning?

Haha, back to blog. Had band practice today, whereby I took out condemned instrus for auction. The 2 condemned Eflat basses were... Woohoo. They stinked and had layers of dust (at least 10 inches deep) stuck onto it. These instruments hadn't been touched for 9 years. And both tubas had 2 valves missing. I plugged my mouthpiece in to test the sound, after much deliberation. To my surprise, they still could be blown.
Ms Chan told us to remove the mouthpieces from the casing. So I took out 2 Yamaha C604s and a Besson 24. The Besson mouthpiece were surprisingly in a good condition and sis not require much washing. The 2 Yamaha ones however was a rusted-up junk with dirt accumulated inside. Gross. So went to the canteen to scrub them clean. The soap water became black after washing(9 years of accumulated dirt).
Having maths test on friday. Here's praying I'll be able to do well.

I haven't been posting for a really long time. Somehow I found the time to blog today, so here am I.
Firstly, thank you 2F for the class BBQ. Haven't seen you all for quite some time already:)
School reopened as usual for RV. Kinda jealous of other school ppl who get an extra week of holidays.
Term 3 is mad, the cancellations and the additions of my To-Do list aren't proportional, i.e. the list is growing at an blistering rate. Sometimes I wish that there are 25 hours in a day.
Bought a copy of 'DENIM' today during Lang Arts, and I must say that it was impressive, to the extent of surprising me. Never before have I read such a enjoyable school magazine. Good work, editorial club!

15th SLC is over:(
The last 4 days spent was definitely a memorable one. These 4 days, I had made countless friendships that would last. I had also got to known 8 strangers whom I had not met previously, and had managed to see them grow in terms of their confidence. That, I must say, was the most gratifying.
I must thank the OT for organizing this, my fellow facils for their support, and lastly, Apodis, for making this SLC a memorable one for me.
Not much time to blog today. I'll put up more photos up on my blog soon.

Had NWSP today, and I was super surprised that we didn't get bombarded so much by the judges. Hope that we can make it to finals... Germany here we come:)
Met Li Xu downstairs while walking home and chatted about our upcoming exams. Li Xu's taking his O levels this year, and he's now changing from being a hardcore slacker to a hardcore mugger. Went to the provision shop to stock up on stuff for mugging spree. Li Xu says that "Eno" is a good drink if u wanna burn midnight oil, cos it reduces heatiness? So bought 2 sachets of "Eno" to try besides a packet of sugar crackers and fisherman's friend.
Imprisoning myself in my room for 5 days to mug for MYEs. Here's hoping that I won't slack. But I'll try to post something while studying, so my blog won't be left for dead.

I'm on the verge of breakdown. I know that I was super ap during the NWSP discussion today. Sorry to kaixin, zisiang and shaotan. Exams are coming up in 10 days' time. Mugging like never before now, cos if I could do well this time, Pa's gonna let me take up drum or bass guitar lessons for NYAA:) But most probably it'll be drums since he could teach me personally as well.
It's been a more than a year already. I wonder how long it will take, but I'll waiting no matter what. Because I love you so.

Maths remedial was fun today. Went through the identities of polynomials, a total of 6 questions. I had missed the lesson on polynomial due to flu. Rather tedious and fustrating(I was fuming over the expansion). Oh, and Mr Gan sang the theme song for 《出路》.I was asking him some questions, then somehow it had reminded him of《出路》.
Me:"Mr Gan, question 5 我 stuck leh,怎么做？”
Mr Gan: "你 expand harh?"
Me: "Yea lor, 因为我不 expand 好像就没路走..."
Mr Gan: "哪里会没有路？走出去就有路！"
LMAO.
So yea, after that Mr Gan was singing the theme song to 《出路》throughout the lesson. haha.
Thankfully, with the help of Junjie and Mr Gan, I was able to get the idea of polynomial. Thanks alot!:D
Went home with Junjie today. Chatted about sec 2 stuff, and Junjie shared some anecdotes about being the class treasurer. I then took 106 from Dover MRT, and while I was tapping the ezlink, something interesting happened. The passenger infront of me had exactly the same card value as me. $3.89. So when I tapped my card, I was confused and tapped my card twice to double check if I had tapped my card. And gosh, the aircon was cold! Met Kaijie's mum on the bus.

Did bio OP at Ci En's house today. On thing I've noticed about Ci En's house-- It's near alot of petrol stations: SPC, Caltex, Shell, just to name the few. And Ci En's view from the window is spectacular! If you looked out of Ci En's window in the morning, sure can see sunrise.
Went to SK's house to borrow Grave Of The Fireflies,Flags Of Our Fathers and World Trade Center. Well, SK's down with fever and sore throat, and Yi Li's down with flu. Hope they will get well soon:)

First of all...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEILING!:D
Woke up late in the morning, squeezed onto 963 and got scolded by the driver for blocking his left view mirror. (I had tried hard to squeezed in, but somehow it still blocked.)
Quite a bad start to term 2, but as the day progressed, it got better. Thank God. Even though I had slept at 1am last night, I was surprisingly alert during maths and biology, even though just right before recess, my head started drifting close to the table. So had a dose of caffeine during recess(a cup of tea), and that lasted me till physics.
Later during maths remedial, I was given a worksheet to do, and well, I did not how to do majority of the questions. Thankfully, Meilin and Yaozong came to my aid and taught me how to do question 5. Thanks Meilin & Yaozong :)
Reached home, had a quick nap and started on my chem assignment, due tomorrow. The majority of the assignment is copy-from-notes kind of questions, but it was long and tedious as well. Got super sian doing it. And I had left the question about Selenium compounds blank. I don't get the question...
My notice board is falling out from the wall. It's now hanging precariously on the wall. I wonder when will it drop off. Let's wait awhile more...

I wonder how will wenhui be able to manage her schoolwork, esp with such sub-standard teachers..
I have little time, so I only spend 15 minutes each day teaching my sis the questions she don't know, as well as to give her dictation tests prior to her weekly dictation test.
I doubt the quality of primary school teachers these days.
My suspicions were confirmed when I was teaching wenhui long division in depth just now. After some time teaching her, I was overcome with frustration. At one point, I had even slammed the table while shouting at the top of my voice, "他妈的，这是什么crap老师？！"
First, this teacher had not taught her students the concept of long division with remainders, instead choosing to jump to the next topic after leaving the division topic half-taught. Secondly,she had not even bothered to go through where my sis had gone wrong in her previous worksheet. Thirdly, she had not empathized the importance of the multiplication table to her students, thus leaving my sis with no idea of the multiplication table(this is especially so as by P3, students should be able to memorise the multiplication table up to multiples of 12, as several topics taught require multiplication.)
Is this lack of competency on the part of the teacher,or is the teacher simply not putting in effort to teach these weaker students? (My sis is in the weaker class.) I had realised that she had allocated 30mins of remedial time for 3PE, but better classes had been given more attention, with 1hour remedials. What logic is this, you might ask. Does being less bright students mean that they do not deserve your attention? Is it correct to assume that these students will never do well, thus reducing the need for attention?
Enough being said about this teacher, I'm off to make sure that wenhui knows how to do long division. And I will prove her assumptions incorrect. I believe wenhui can do much better even with her sub-standard teaching.

I haven't been posting in ages... I just turned 15 9 days ago. I haven't had the time to post about my birthday. Thank you to all who had given me presents and sent me greetings in one way or another:D
I hate to rant, but I believe that the ridiculous behaviour I had witnessed today must be for the record. While collecting the gate books from the general office this morning, I got reprimanded by some British teacher for not holding the door open for him. Why should I? He wasn't even carrying anything. And to top it off, he asked me to "show some manners". Does not being your doorman not show manners? What imbecilic logic is this? To begin with, I did not even know if he was even exiting the office. If I knew he was, I would have held the door for him out of grace. And therefore, being gracious, I forced a smile and held the the door for him. I believed I had showed him much more "manners" than he actually deserves.
Got back all my results. I did not do very well, but then I wasn't exactly too depressed. "I'll do better during MYEs." I had told myself.
Had SYF sound check last Sunday. We had played our best, but somehow it wasn't enough yet. Went to Vivo to eat after that. Saw double rainbows. So cool eh? Our competition date's on 8 April. Band, jiayous for SYF!

It had been a busy, but fun week! Had chem test on Tuesday. I don't think I did very well though.
Taupok-ed Yewhui on Wednesday during sectionals. Just imagine: Me, Liuyi, Yiming crashing on to Yewhui. 惨不忍睹 right? After the taupok session, Yewhui was like saying to me, "6 days later you die.*smirks*" I regretted joining in the taupok after being reminded of my birthday :X
Had 2 hours' of maths lesson today as Mr Tan wasn't around and Mr Gan decided to take this period for his maths lesson. Longest maths lesson in my entire RV life. Well, it wasn't too bad as Mr Gan is a very interesting teacher. He talks to himself. lol.
Had barney duty today and had fun chatting with Zhixiang, Queenie, Sebastian and Benson.

Happy valentine's everyone! Thank you to those who had wished me happy valentine's in one way or another.
Received the school yearbook today. Was excitedly flipping through it with Zhiliang and Siwei. Not much surprise though. Had band later on and played the SYF pieces. I also met my sec 1 jnr for the 1st time. He's one of the cps of 1K. He's very cute, and he had impressed us with his embrochure.
