The Cyclone Nargis that struck Myanmar and the massive earthquake in Sichuan,China left thousands dead and many more homeless. What we see from these disasters were suffering and death, but from these disasters we can also see the more humane side of us; the world with a heart.
The school organised a donation campaign for the earthquake victims of China. And from what I saw, many participated, donating to help fellow mankind.
Year 4J also had a donation drive for the cyclone victims of Myanmar. Envelops were passed out to all classes, seeking donation.
Those who did their part to help the victims are heroes in their own way.
