Youth Day celebrations 2008 ended successfully.. I've gained much experience in planning the project, and the feeling of success was gratifying. I've taken up this project not to be recognised by others, but to recognise myself, strengths and weaknesses. It also allowed me to work with people from other committees. I've learnt much about them, and they are all nice people giving me guidiance and support. When I was about to take up this project, I asked myself: Would I be able to do it? Will the event screw up? There's no disCo people, how? I'm the only sec 2,how? But all these questions in my mind was answered as I embarked on the project. There were difficulties, but they were only meant to be overcome, not to falter our efforts. While the event was running, I could see the hardwork and dedication of my fellow SCs through their efforts to keep the event smoothly running. A great thank you to all of you. Had band prac today. Played "A Huntingdon Celebration", "Disney Classic Revue" and "Grand March". Went quite okay, although I can't pitch properly at times. Holidays is gonna end! Term 3 coming already. Which means 2G will have 20 more weeks left together. I hate myself for not coming for class outing. I didn't cherish this chance. 120th post! haha. Had band prac today. Foot drills/PT in the morning, then combined. Foot drills sucks. How do you keep your legs 90degrees when your PE shorts are so long and restrictive? Cheesebun. Ms Chan gave us quite a number of pieces for us to sightread and decide which to play for concert. In the end,she chose "A Huntingdon Celebration". Quite okay, but I got lost at the last part. Went back home rest for a while, then went to West Mall to buy printer ink, as well as to buy prizes for the class who collects the most number of cans. Met quite a number of RV ppl there. Met my primary school junior too. Chatted with him for awhile. I kept thinking that he was in P5. It was only when he talks about the PSLE he's going to take that I realized he is P6. Band practice starts tomorrow. Sigh, I think I will die during band practice... I didn't practice a lot. Only a few times. I think I still can't tune B(flat) properly.. Went back to school for YDC meeting. It was much more productive than the last meeting. And it was less boring. We actually contemplated the idea of having our next meeting on Monday at Mr Gan's chalet. Eventually, Mr Gan decided to have the meeting in school.
