Went to the RSAF open house at Paya Lebar airbase today. SK was with me. Reached Eunos MRT at about 0930. Reached the airbase at 1020. Had a fruitful trip today. Okay, I shall let pictures do the talking..  The long queue for the security check. The entrance. SK with the artillery helmet.  Sticking my hand into the hot air exhaust of a C-130. Retarded actually. One possible use of aircraft tyres: a couch. The interior of an C-130.  On the C-130. On a Apache. We can't enter the cockpit... So this will have to suffice. The arrows highlight the difference in our heights..(Okay, I bent my knees abit) The rain that followed this almost ended our fun. Luckily it was a short one. We were back to action soon after. We decided not to join the long queue in order to climb into a F-16 cockpit. So we sticked our heads into the afterburner? "Remove before flight." SK with the F-16. Under the F-16. Took this M-16 from the mannequin behind me. Went home at about 1730. Had a haircut on the way back too. Now my hair looks wierd. I should start on the holiday homework soon.
