Was out at Sim Lim Square with Yong Jie today after flag day. He had wanted to get his CID materials (electronic parts) while I wanted to get my 50mm f/1.8 prime lens. After searching though the entire Sim Lim Square looking for dynamos and LED lights, we had decided to go to Sim Lim tower to try our luck. We hadn't put our hopes too high but well, as luck would have it, we found all the electrical parts stores all spammed there. So went around the shops comparing prices and got all the parts needed. Went home later to try out my new prime lens, the EF 50mm f/1.8. It's super cool. The bokeh created in the background is super nice and soft, and it takes tact sharp pictures. Gosh, I feel like running outside right now to spam pictures! But no, SCS beckons. Tomorrow perhaps. |
